Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 1963, Claudia Nery holds a degree in Architecture and now dedicates herself full-time to painting. Her work has been exhibited throughout Mexico and internationally in the United States, Argentina, and Switzerland. Working in mixed media on paper and canvas, Claudia combines bold color, layered transparency, and intricate etched details to create richly textured, multidimensional compositions. Inspired by personal reflection, Pre-Hispanic imagery, and contemporary Mexican culture, her paintings feature mysterious faces, celestial forms, and animals woven into a playful, surreal world that balances imagination with sophistication.
